MINUTES OF THE VMC MEETING HELD ON 20.04.2009
A meeting of VMC KV AFS Arjangarh, New Delhi was held on 20.04.2009 at 8.30 AM under Chairmanship of Gp Capt Rajnish Bhalla, Station Commander AFS Arjangarh New Delhi and Hon’ble Chairman of VMC KV AFS Arjangarh.
The Principal extended his warm and hearty welcome to all the members of the committee and the agenda items were placed before the committee and were discussed one after the other, after introducing new members.
- The Principal proposed the issue of celebration of Annual Day of the vidyalaya. It was informed by the Principal that the Annual Day is to be celebrated in KVS Auditorium situated in the campus of KV No. 2 Delhi Cantt, majority of members of the Committee had told that the parent including IAF official would not be going to attend the function 25 Km away from the vidyalaya. The Chairman suggested to get the opinion of the parents regarding the place where the Annual day is to be celebrated and then the matter will be taken up with the authorities of KVS. It was also suggested by the Chairman that the day may be celebrated in Sept/Oct.09
- It was reported by the Principal to the members of VMC that some of the old broken & unserviceable articles of different departments had to be condemned as proposed by the stock verifiers and stock in charges. Since the cost of articles to be condemned is more than Rs. 50000/-, hence the papers for condemnation are to be forwarded to the Asstt. Commissioner, KVS(DR) for his necessary action. The lists of articles reflected for condemnation were placed before the committee. The members of the committee recommended condemnation of various articles including furniture of worth Rs. 136731=50 under different heads.

- It was informed by the Principal that the contract of vidyalaya canteen, which was given to M/s Manoj Sharma, through tenders @ Rs. 1100/- pm as rent, may be renewed for the current session 2009-10. since the quality of product seems to be good, it was suggested and approved by the members of the committee that the contract may be renewed with hike of 10%. The canteen contractor will have to pay Rs. 1200/- pm as rent of the canteen.
- Chairman VMC had enquired regarding health checkup of the students. It was informed by the Principal that the health check up of the students is done twice in a session by a qualified doctor @ Rs. 15/- per child per check up. Chairman said that he will make efforts so that the check up of the students is done by the Doctor of Air Force.
At the end Dr. Nutan Punj extended vote of tanks to all the members of VMC and the meeting ended at 10.00 am.

KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA AFS
ARJANGARH NEW DELHI- 110047
A meeting
of VMC KV AFS Arjangarh, New Delhi was held on 16.09.2009 at
07.30 AM under Chairmanship of Gp Capt Rajnish Bhall Station
Commander AFS Arjangarh New Delhi and Hon’ble Chairman of
VMC KV AFS Arjangarh.
The
Principal extended his warm and hearty welcome to all the
members of the committee and the agenda items were placed
before the committee one after the another for discussion &
approval.

The
Principal presented the VVN Budget in details for its
approval, keeping in view the last year expenditure, need of
the current session and ceiling approved by KVS as well as
the intake amount of funds. The members of the committee
were apprised of the expenditure of last session & proposed
budget of the current session 2009-10 as well as the budget
estimate for the session 2010-11
During
discussion, Hon’ble Chairman suggested polishing of
furniture, purchase of advanced musical instruments, purchase
of 02 T.T. Tables, EPABX, Intercom system, telephones etc.
The
Chairman was pleased to see the budget and the members of the
committee approved the proposed budget.

It was
proposed by the Principal that a local purchase committee
consisting of three members is required to make urgent
purchase.
A committee
consisting of the following three members including a Maths
teacher was approved by all the members of VMC

3. The
Principal informed the committee that during the
construction of AF quarters, certain patch of boundary wall
of the vidyalaya has got broked, which leads to the entry of
animals inside the vidyalaya premises. The Chairman was kind
to ensure to get it repaired
At the end
Dr. Vandna Garg presented the vote of thanks to all the
members of VMC and the meeting ended at 9.15 am.
